The Assessment section provides tools for managing all student evaluations. From formal examinations to quizzes and project submissions, this is where academic assessment happens.

Exams

Formal evaluations that test comprehensive knowledge:

  • Scheduled at specific dates/times
  • Timed assessments
  • Multiple question types
  • Contribute significantly to grades

Quizzes

Shorter assessments for ongoing evaluation:

  • Can be completed anytime within deadline
  • Typically shorter than exams
  • Test specific topics
  • Help track ongoing progress

Projects

Practical assignments demonstrating applied knowledge:

  • Extended time for completion
  • May involve research or practical work
  • Submission-based evaluation
  • Often culminating assessments

  2. Schedule - Set availability dates
  3. Publish - Make available to students

Common Workflows

How do I view exam schedules for a campus?

  1. Navigate to Schedule > Exam Schedules
  2. Filter by campus location
  3. View scheduled exam dates and times
  4. Note: Exam schedules are set by Training Center Division

How do I check which students are eligible for exams?

  1. Navigate to Exams > Exam Submissions or check class roster
  2. Review student attendance records
  3. Verify students have completed 11 sessions attendance
  4. Students with fewer than 11 sessions are not eligible for exams

How do I view exam submissions?

  1. Navigate to Exams > Exam Submissions
  2. Filter by exam, class, or date range
  3. Review submission status and completion times
  4. Note: Both onsite and online students take exams online
  5. Exams are available during the class open period (one week for online classes)

How do I check a student's exam score?

  1. Navigate to Exams > Exam Submissions
  2. Search for the specific student
  3. Click on the submission to view detailed results
  4. Review individual question scores and total score

How do I view quiz submissions?

  1. Navigate to Quizzes > Quiz Submissions
  2. Filter by quiz name, class, or date
  3. View submission status and scores
  4. Click on individual submissions for detailed answers

How do I check quiz results for a class?

  1. Navigate to Quizzes > Quiz Stats
  2. Filter by class and quiz
  3. Review class average and score distribution
  4. Identify high and low performers

How do I view project submissions?

  1. Navigate to Projects > Project Submissions
  2. Filter by project, class, or submission date
  3. Review submission status (submitted, pending, late)
  4. Download or view submitted files

How do I check a student's overall assessment performance?

  1. Navigate to Exams > Exam Stats or Quizzes > Quiz Stats
  2. Search for the specific student
  3. Review scores across all assessments
  4. Compare against class averages

How do I identify students who haven't taken exams?

  1. Navigate to Exams > Exam Submissions
  2. Filter by specific exam and class
  3. Look for students with no submission record
  4. Cross-reference with eligibility (11 sessions attendance required)
  5. Contact students or instructors as needed

How do I export assessment data?

  1. Navigate to the relevant stats or submissions page
  2. Apply filters for the data you need
  3. Click the Export button
  4. Choose export format (CSV, Excel)
  5. Use exported data for reporting and analysis
