Clearance Tab

Overview

The Clearance tab displays the student's clearance status and allows you to process level progression and completion.

Clearance Actions

There are two different actions for Level 1 to Level 2 progression:

Move to Level 2

Allows a student to start Level 2 while still having pending Level 1 courses:

• Student has completed most Level 1 requirements
• May have 2-3 pending Level 1 courses remaining
• Can begin Level 2 classes
• Pending courses become Carryover courses

Cleared for Level 2 (Certificate Holder)

Full completion of Level 1 with no pending courses:

• All Level 1 courses completed
• All attendance requirements met (11+ sessions per class)
• All Level 1 exams passed
• All Level 1 tuition cleared
• Student becomes a Certificate Holder

Graduate as Alumni

Full completion of both levels:

• Certificate Holder status (Level 1 complete)
• All Level 2 courses completed (including any carryover)
• All Level 2 attendance requirements met
• All Level 2 exams passed
• All Level 2 tuition cleared
• Student becomes Alumni

What You Can View

Clearance Status

Current clearance status:

• Not Cleared
• Moved to Level 2 (with carryover)
• Certificate Holder (Level 1 Complete)
• Alumni (Level 2 Complete)

Requirements Checklist

List of requirements and their status:

• Academic requirements (courses, attendance, exams)
• Financial requirements (tuition cleared)
• Carryover status (if applicable)

How to Process Clearance

Move a Student to Level 2 (with pending courses)

1. Verify most Level 1 requirements are complete
2. Note any pending courses (2-3 maximum)
3. Click Move to Level 2
4. Confirm the action
5. Pending courses are assigned as carryover

Clear a Student for Level 2 (Certificate Holder)

1. Verify ALL Level 1 requirements are complete
2. Confirm no pending courses remain
3. Click Cleared for Level 2
4. Confirm the clearance
5. Student becomes a Certificate Holder

Graduate a Student as Alumni

1. Verify all Level 2 requirements are complete
2. Verify any carryover courses are complete
3. Click Graduate or Mark as Alumni
4. Confirm the graduation
5. Student becomes Alumni
